High-level Forum for Young Venture Capitalists
Young Atlantic Venture Association provides a high-level forum for Young Venture Capitalists in the Mid-Atlantic region. Young Investment Professionals was created to:
- enhance networking opportunities,
- expand deal flow,
- build co-investment relationships, and
- improve education and knowledge of the practice.
Over 160 Investment Professionals and 86 Venture Firms
Young Investment Professionals was conceived in the late 90’s and has grown to include over 160 investment professionals from 86 venture firms in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our membership consists of Vice-Presidents, Junior Partners and associate-level individuals of venture capital and private equity funds in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Networking and Special Projects
Young Investment Professionals implements its mission by hosting social networking events each year along with other projects including Community Outreach and Professional Development Programs. There are no dues associated with membership in Young Investment Professionals. However, your firm must be a MAVA member. Our programs and events are supported by annual sponsorships from select MAVA member service firms. Young Investment Professionals is also supported with organizational and operating assistance from the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA).
