The Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) is proud to offer ALPHAConnect, a collaborative program aimed at bringing the promising technologies being developed at member universities, and non-profits to the attention of early-stage venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. Solicitation for Technologies - A Call for Innovations
MAVA and its partners are seeking nominations for technologies to be presented at the next ALPHAConnect Vanguard breakfast on JULY 30, 2008. An ALPHAConnect Selection Committee comprised of early-stage venture MAVA members will review nominated technologies.

History
This new MAVA endeavor stems from MAVA's former Tech Transfer program and early work by MITRE and RedShift Ventures' efforts called Venture Genesis. ALPHAConnect is a featured program and benefit of MAVA's UniversityConnect outreach affiliation for area colleges and universities.
