AnyPresence, the leading enterprise backend-as-a-service (BaaS) platform, today announced it was awarded the 2013 Disruptive Strategy Award at this year's Strategy Innovation Awards, held in conjunction with the Chief Strategy Officer Summit in San Francisco, California.
AnyPresence was nominated alongside an impressive list of corporations, including Walmart, Citigroup, L'Oreal, Cisco and Intel. AnyPresence received the award due to its "no platform lock-in" technology and recently launched Meta-Platform that allows companies to create a customized mobile development portal for developer ecosystems(1) , both of which have potential for disruption in the enterprise mobility space. With its unique, de-coupled architecture, AnyPresence provides customers with the ability to deploy and manage the run-time code of their mobile apps and backend server on their own. This is a distinctly different approach than other mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaaS) and mobile application development platform (MADP) solutions, where customers do not have access to the proprietary run-time source code IP of the vendor, and are locked into the solution for the lifespan of their apps.
"Winning the 2013 Disruptive Strategy Award provides further recognition of AnyPresence's unique technology differentiators and leadership in the enterprise mobility space," said Susan Miller, Chief Strategy Officer at AnyPresence. "It was an honor to be nominated alongside some of the world's leading innovators, and even more humbling to have won the award."
