14 Semifinalists to Compete in Cupid's Cup Business Plan Competition Held by Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship

Fourteen student startups have been selected from nearly 150 nationwide entries to advance to the semifinals of the 2014 Cupid's Cup Business Competition, a national business competition held by the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland's School of Business. The entrepreneurs will present on Feb. 20 at Under Armour's headquarters in Baltimore, with the top five then competing for $115,000 in the final round to be held April 4 at the University of Maryland. Cupid's Cup is the brainchild of Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, a 1996 graduate of Maryland's Smith School of business, who earned more than $20,000 during his time at the university through his Valentine's Day rose sale business called Cupid's Valentine. A complete rundown of the semifinalists is available at the bottom link below.
