University of Maryland's Dingman Center Takes Cupid's Cup National

The University of Maryland's Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship said it will for the first time expand its annual Cupid's Cup Business Competition to the national stage. The competition, which previously had been open only to students and recent alumni, now will accept applications from student entrepreneurs from across the nation. Cupid's Cup is the brainchild of Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, a 1996 graduate of Maryland's Smith School of business, who earned more than $20,000 during his time at the university through his Valentine's Day rose sale business called Cupid's Valentine.
