Center for Innovative Technology Invests in Reston-Based ADR Software

12/11/2013
The Herndon-based Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) said on Wednesday it has invested an unspecified amount in Reston-based ADR Software, a developer of technology that helps general contractors and project owners collect and document labor information. Marty Pollak, the president of ADR, said his company will use the proceeds to "expand our work force and continue our business and product development." The company's Workforce Monitor service uses wide area cellular networking and radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies to capture and report information about workforce traffic by monitoring the exits and entrances of construction sites. CIT made the investment through its GAP Funds, a family of seed- and early-stage investment funds targeting Virginia-based technology, life science and clean tech companies.
